The Guardia Civil raided Caleta market on Tuesday and 4 traders have been caught selling fake goods.  I'm surprised they've never raided it before.

Ha ha, only 4 !! Doubt if there is much there that IS genuine tbh. Apart from the local craft sellers & a few others 😁😂😁😂

I've read about raids at the market in Morro Jable (plus one more place, just can't recall the town name) at the beginning of this year. I'm honestly glad the Police is finally targetting these sellers. They make a massive damage to the picture of Fuerteventura, IMHO.

Let's hope the Guardia will be checking the market much more often.
Unfortunately, it is most likely that the tradespeople singled out were not contributing to The Guardias pension fund. Rolleyes Rolleyes
Did Del Boy not retire, look you and I and everyone knows that a market would go out of business without dodgey goods.
