• The Miss Antigua Gala is organized by a young team to which the misses of the last six competitions they have in their trajectory are added.

• The beauty of each candidate will be the sum of attitudes such as elegance, character and sympathy.

The twelve candidates for Miss Antigua begin a work of rehearsals, image tests, promotion of the municipality, learning staging and parading before the public, in a Gala that gathers every year about one thousand people in the Plaza of the City Hall of Antigua, announces the Coordinator of the VI Miss Antigua Contest, Kevin Santana De Vera.

This week, the twelve candidates for Miss Antigua 2019 have had the opportunity to meet at the first informative meeting held to organize this sixth edition of the Contest, which will take place on September 4 within the framework of the Antigua Festivities.

In this first meeting, Mayor Matías Peña and the Councillor of Festejos, Jonathan Peña, welcomed the candidates, wishing them the best of luck in the final gala, but especially, enjoying the road until that moment, because there is so much that is learned, in addition to the friendships that are made, said the municipal councillor.

The twelve candidates for Miss Antigua 2019 will have to take into account, that beauty understood as the set of attitudes of elegance, character and sympathy, among other personal traits, will be valued.

Shops in Antigua and its surroundings, the Tourist Board of Fuerteventura and the Department of Tourism collaborate with the organization of the VI Miss Antigua Competition together with the Department of Celebrations of the City Council of Antigua.
