I find it quite alarming that somebody (Sam?) is changing my entries on this forum.
What do you mean?  Please give an example.
Not answered just moved to a part forum that has very little traffic?
Something similar happened to me on this forum,  Sam changed the title
of a post I made on Goldcar (his narrative was it would make it more relevant
if searched on the internet) whilst I accepted his explanation I did not agree
with it. Any editing just doesn't sit well with me even moving posts (like this).
I would be interested to know what happened in your case Erik

I left the thread in the General Discussions for a couple of days so everyone can catch up. After that I simply had to move it to the right category. Erik just created another thread and didn't bother to reply when Emmi asked if he can give an example. It felt like a deja-vu: "It is not possible to find or book flights on easyjet or ryanair from European airports for dates after 31 march". Never bothered to give more details, again.

RE Censorship: I removed a racist comment about British holidaymakers paying high insurance for a reason. Not the first nor the last time we had to deal with racism around here. Call it censorship if you want to but we all moved here from an anarchy and I was personally hoping that all the racists patriots won't bother to register here because they (with comments about every single nationality in the world) were damaging the picture of the community and the whole island. I'm sure everyone got the message and Erik will one day too. Users of Pleasantville (thanks Dagwood for the name, I love it Wink ) are not, and I hope will never be, so kind on racism.

I changed the title from "Goldcar" to "Article about Goldcar" and moved the thread to the right category.
There's one more. I also changed the title of this thread from "delivery" to "Correos recorded delivery" for exactly the same reason. I'm sorry but a single word titles usually don't cut it and your thread will get ignored which is quite the opposite to why you decided to start the thread in the first place.

BTW: Search results for Correos recorded delivery in Fuerteventura = Fuerteventura.click is among the top 10 results.  Small changes like this make us much more visible and we'll gain more visitors/users, making this community bigger and hopefully better.

I'm, as well as the rest of moderators here are, moving threads to the correct categories to make it easier for the (especially first time) visitors to find the right info without jumping through too many hoops. I'm really sorry if this doesn't sit well with you but there's more people to consider, not just yourself. Nobody want you to feel bad about it, we're just trying to make the forum "readable" for everyone. Leaving everything in the top/general category would create a massive mess which we're trying to avoid. Creating new categories and moving things around is pretty boring activity and I wouldn't do it myself if it wasn't necessary as there's still so many things to do here, just can't find the time.

Are you "implying or suggesting" it wasn't a racist comment?

This does it.
Give me a direct quote of this comment !
You are getting very close to being accussed of slander
Just so we are accurate her slander is spoken libel is written, so if you sue it should be for libel, but as you purpote to be Dutch Rolleyes Rolleyes Rolleyes Rolleyes Rolleyes  we will forgive your lack of understanding of the English Language
Sam,

I changed the title from "Goldcar" to "Article about Goldcar" and moved the thread to the right category.

There's one more. I also changed the title of this thread from "delivery" to "Correos recorded delivery" for exactly the same reason. I'm sorry but a single word titles usually don't cut it and your thread will get ignored which is quite the opposite to why you decided to start the thread in the first place. (I'm fairly sure the original title was Recorded delivery and not delivery)

So you change and edit titles to what you decide is a better title.  That Sam is to me is just not right.  What next will you change
to content that just "don't cut it".  I raised this with you at the time in private and you assured me you do not
and I accept that to be the case.  That said I'm sure your motives were for the right reasons.

To be clear, I added a couple of words to your "one word titles" as an extra info for everyone to understand better what the thread is about - and save their time if they weren't interested in the particular topic.
I can possibly set the title length to (let's say) 40 characters so we don't have to deal with one word titles at all. Will that be a better solution? The biggest issue is time to write/test the code but I'll put it on the list.

If I'll ever come across a new tread with only one letter or word in it I'm not going to bother and remove it straight away. What would you do in that situation?

Thanks for understanding SiTie, I really appreciate it.
