The Dominguez Brothers acquire the Oasis Village resort in Corralejo.

The complex, located in Corralejo, belonged to businessman Andrés Bardeau de la Vega until he entered bankruptcy proceedings and went into bankruptcy administration.

According to the specialized magazine Tourinews, "HD Hotels, the hotel division of Grupo HD, has recently acquired the Oasis Village resort, located in the tourist area of Corralejo. So far they have not transcended the data of the operation of sale of an establishment that was seized in 2017 to the businessman Andrés Bardeau de la Vega – currently accused of several economic crimes – after entering into bankruptcy for a millionaire debt ".

As part of its hotel expansion strategy, the chain has added a 3-star complex to its portfolio, which has 232 apartments and a plot of more than 38,000 m². HD Hotels plans to carry out a significant investment for the transformation and repositioning of the establishment, which will be operated under its own concept 'Family & Joy'.

With the purchase of Oasis Village, the chain integrated in the holding of the Domínguez Santana brothers increases its portfolio in the Canary Islands to five hotels, with presence on four islands: HD Parque Cristóbal Gran Canaria and HD Acuario Lifestyle, in Gran Canaria; HD Parque Cristóbal Tenerife; HD Beach Resort Lanzarote and the newly acquired one in Fuerteventura.

The Oasis Village was managed until 2017 by the company Oasis Village S.A., whose sole administrator was Andrés Bardeau de la Vega. However, in March 2017 it was published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) that the Commercial Court No. 2 of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria declared the "necessary" bankruptcy of the company, which dragged a millionaire debt, after the request submitted by one of its creditors, the brokerage firm Burlington Loan Management, owned by hedge fund manager Davidson Kempner Capital Management.
