Fuerteventura's representatives are Villaverde Norte and Sotavento. The season starts on 5 September. Villaverde won promotion at the end of last season by beating Sotavento in the play-off final, but subsequently Sotavento were also promoted as Tamaraceite were promoted to the Second Division.

The Regional Preferete League starts on 28 August. It will feature 3 Fuerteventura teams - Union Puerto, CD Herbania and CD Cotillo, and teams from Lanzarote and Gran Canaria. 19 teams are in the League.

This season the top team will be promoted and there will be play offs for the next 4 teams. To help her learn Spanish as quickly as possible, we’re looking into schooling starting in September 2027, when she’ll be 3. We’re considering the new public school in Caleta, but we’d be open to other options, including living elsewhere, if there are better schools.

Would anyone recommend good options? Also, are there any English-speaking classes in Caleta?
