I went to challenge and by the time I got speaking with so called manager the chips were cold. I insisted I wanted a refund and it must have taken over 20 mins to have this processed.
I don’t know what’s happening in this country but pure common courtesy, and service do not exist in places like this.
How people can actually serve dried up shrivelled cold food is beyond me. I thought there were time checks and temperature checks on all fast foods.

The waitress who also happens to be the owner while serving us drinks managed to spill several bottles of water from the tray down on top of me. Now she was so sorry and apologised, I was like a drowned rat and had to change my clothes.
The drinks were replaced, the meal as served and later the bill called for.

A very nice local restaurant that was following all the hygiene protocols.

Menu board in Spanish, selection of 7 or 8 starters up to 10€ and 7 or 8 mains up to 20€ plus market price for a couple of the dishes  and 4 or 5 desserts at 4 / 4.50€ so not overly expensive food but Lanzarote wine was quite expensive at 24€.

We will be back.

Unfortunately the old place was closed and now had been turned into La Terraza and had only been open about a week. We stayed as it is such a nice setting overlooking the port.
Not an extensive menu at the moment, it remains to be seen whether this will be extended. We tend to eat Tapas style meals usually, so stuck to the starter menu choosing Papas Arrugadas, Atun Tartare and Croquettas de Pescado. We chose not to have bread, which is charged extra, as we were having the potatoes. Ihad water (driver) and my wife had vino tinto.
All very nice and good sized portions for sharing, especially the papas.
Since we had time to spare I had tarte de manzana - no ice cream as they were waiting for something to be installed. My wife had a second glass of wine and since the bottle was nearly empty the waitress gave an extremely generous measure. I also had a coffee, my favourite condensada largo.

There are loads of old artifacts inside: rows of goat bells, 2 Trios (an old agri implement made of wood with stones set into it to break up ground), an enormous industrial weighing scale, a water filter system, various pots, sewing machine, and several items that I've got no idea what they were! Worth a visit and a cup of coffee or something stronger! Very friendly guy behind the bar. Bathroom excellent.
