Hi,

Has anybody been to Punta Marina in Morro Jable? If so is there is a simple way to get to the beach? Looking at the map there doesn't seem to be. Some reviews mentioned taking the pool gate out but don't really explain how close the walk is. Not that it would kill be to walk towards the gas station but considering how close the apartments are to the beach it would be nice to have a short direct route.

This all assumes I ever book a flight that actually flies.

Thanks

What in the world has happened to the staff at the Maxorata? We returned this week after a visit in may to find a complete change in staff and atmosphere had taken place 2weeks ago. In particular the main bar has gone from a happy, bubbly place to be, to a place where the staff don't speak, even to each other, and the atmosphere between them is appalling.

Does anyone know where Juan (aka Grand pappi) and his bar crew have gone?

Hi there,

We're thinking/planning for late next winter or early spring. Call it March or April. Palm Garden is cheaper which would let us stay longer. But the reviews are all over the place. The question is for the Money how bad is it? In other words are the negative reviews expecting champagne on a beer budget or is it really that bad?

One other option is the Alberto apartments. Obviously much nicer. Not that much more Money. The issue here is some reviews mention the "private" terraces have other guests using it to access their rooms. April I'm not too worried about the Weather but March might be an issue. If the beach is windy and cold we'd like to use the terrace the same way we'd use the C/O beach .

Thanks
