We stayed here recently, on a short-break bought locally.
This Club offers plenty of activities for the energetic, like tennis, watersports, gym etc. Three pools, at least two heated.
The walk down to the beach is only for the mildly fit, especially if it's very hot.
Loads of sunbeds around the pools, and scattered throughout the very well kept gardens. These are the gem of this place.
Accommodation is a bit dated, in many separate 2-storey blocks, all named after the islands. We were in 'Lanzarote' which was a fair hike from the main restaurants/reception. They have a pickup service for luggage and drop-off your bags outside your door when you arrive. The bathrooms have been updated. Some rooms have spectacular views.
This is a big place and can accommodate maybe 1000+ guests. There are loads of 'staff' called Robins wherever you go. That's because the concept from TUI is to take on loads of 'interns' from around the world and give them 3-6 months trial and training. We met only one Brit.
Great place for kids, if you can afford to take them there. Two clubs for different age groups with activities all day long and they teach the kids to swim, if required, at the Sharkclub.
The food was pretty good, with loads of choices, and the 'Wellchoice' concept with all healthy options. All drinks were the proper real deal. Not cheap local copies. And cava and cake, etc available every afternoon.
Friday night is their big Gala Dinner night, as most leave on a Saturday.
The downsides were few, but don't expect much English OR Spanish to be spoken. You could suspend belief and think you were in Germany! And it's a bit like a prison at the gates, as they 'lock' you in as no-one needs id or wristbands. And the main restaurant was heaving, particularly on Gala Night. Very difficult to find somewhere to sit. 95% of tables are large 8 or 10 seat shared seating.
All-in-all, a pretty good place if you can get a good deal. When we were there Expedia were selling it at over €400/night!

I've stayed here a few times, firstly in 2012, most recently in April this year. It's right on the seafront, although there are loads of steps involved to get down to beach level! Once on the beach, it's naturist friendly and you can wander north up the beach to Mal Nombre for lunch.

It's a mid-price all-inclusive, catering mainly to German visitors. I'd rate it as a 3-star place. The hotel is reasonably equipped but rather tired in places. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant buffet is quite good (although this year it was noticeably downgraded from my 2012 experience). The staff are pleasant and helpful. But bar service is slow, I guess this is intentional.

There's a nice sauna and steam room, plus a decent pool.

On two occasions, I've had problems getting in to the card-operated room safe - this isn't funny if you're about to leave for the airport and want to grab your passport and Money! Both times, I had to wait for a maintenance man to come along with a master key. So, if you use the room safe, be sure to try to open it at least an hour before you need to leave!

The hotel is quite isolated, so a hire car is recommended, but there is a bus stop nearby.

I stayed there in 2017. I knew the hotel was fairly big, but I hadn't realised just how enormous the site is! It's also built on a slope, so not only are there long distances to walk, there are also lots of steps and slopes to negotiate. I'm pretty fit, but found it a tiring place to stay in. With about 650 rooms, and with quite a lot of families staying, there could be 1500 people or so on site. Frankly, the place can't cope easily with the numbers of people. The main restaurant in the evening was complete mayhem, with a queue to get a table, and then there were lots of young kids running around screaming and bumping into people. Thankfully, there was an "adults only" section, but that was still noisy. The buffet food at dinner was OK, but I've had much better quality buffets in several cheaper all-inclusive hotels in Costa Calma. The breakfast buffet was, well, a breakfast buffet and it's hard to get that wrong. Bar service usually involved queuing, but the bar staff were pleasant and helpful, and I met some nice fellow guests. Some nice touches were a self-service fridge with bottles of mineral water, a self-service coffee station, and a self-service fruit selection. The rooms are spacious and reasonably equipped. The shower was inside the bath, which I don't really like (maybe this has been changed in a recent refurbishment?). The rooms are spread around in about 20 blocks, each 3-storeys high. There can be some unwanted noise - there were kids running around the corridors screaming after midnight in the block I was in. I can't understand parents letting their kids do this, but I suppose different people have different standards. Although the hotel is next to the beach, it's on a cliff top, so there are lots of steps to get down to the beach (and the return trip uphill can be challenging!). The hotel is fairly isolated, so you'd need a car to get to places, although I imagine most guests stay put and use the all-inclusive facilities. That's a bit of a shame, as just a few miles away are some of the most stunning beaches you'll find in Europe. I chose to stay at Magic Life as it has a small naturist area with its own pool. However, it was a bit cramped, with rather too many sunbeds for the area available, and I ended up spending my days on the beautiful beaches nearby. So, in summary, if you want to take your kids to a place where they can tear around like loonies all day, and have the cost reassurance of all-inclusive, then Magic Life is OK. If you want somewhere more peaceful, go somewhere else!
