It is a very Spanish place, very popular with locals especially at the weekends. Good helpings, reasonable prices. You can't book tables (well, pre COVID, not sure now) and can sometimes wait for an hour or more for a table. I know some visitors who eat here nearly every night of their holiday as it has things both they and their teenage children like.

I am a lover of Pizza - at least once a week I get that craving that only great pizza can fulfill.
When I was in London, I used to drive about 45 minutes to taste that sweet mixture of cheese, dough and an assortment of toppings - now, I can walk there if I have enough patience.

Simply put:

Some of the best pizza I have ever tasted
Nice menu variety for lovers of all toppings
Reasonable prices for the top offerings
Average Drink Selection
Multiple Languages
Parking nearby in a car park

Same owners, more or less the same menu. Leo took over Ocean Deli from Kelly-Jo about a year ago, but now he has given it a new name and a tweak of the menu.

If you are not familiar with the venue, it's in the Marfolin building, the last property on the left as you leave Cotillo and before you enter Lagos area. Fabulous views of the beach but a little chilly in the shade on a windy day.

It is beautifully set up and you are treated as VIPs - definitely a place for a celebration meal. Not the cheapest but reliably one of the best, if not the best. Steak have always been spot on as has the salmon. Not an enormous choice on the menu but its all so good its still hard to decide what to order.

We usually have a leg of lamb to share (needs to be booked in advance), served with small cubes of roasties, mixed seasonal veg and gravy to die for. On the odd occasion when lamb is not in season we've had steaks - always cooked just how we order them. Homemade alioli is gorgeous.
Every time we've had the lamb we've ended up having loads wrapped to go (para llevar) as there is just so much.

Book your table as well as the lamb!

We are not very adventurous, sticking to tried and tested restaurants. We currently have 3 other places where we like to dine.

La Mama on Calle Anzuelo and we always introduce ourselves to the lovely lady who touts for them and let her take us in to the restaurant.

Of course we have to dine in Avenida, the aioli is to die for and it is complimentary. However these days I am finding the portions to be on the generous side but they will always wrap what you want and that then is lunch sorted for the day after.

Our third favourite is the Asia Garden which I can recommend unlike the New Slow Boat a bit further up the street. 

There have been others that have come and gone or have fallen out of favour with us.
