If I install all the usual UK tv apps (iplayer, etc) on to a Google Chromecast and subscribe to NordVPN Plus and install that app on the Chromecast too, can I be pretty confident that with a decent internet connection over there I should be able to get uk television ?

I’ve always managed to get uk tv without a VPN, most recently with the teeveeing app but maybe it’s time to go down the Nord route ?

From the research I've done it seems like my simplest solution would be to buy an Android Smart TV e.g. Sony and then download the Nord VPN app (I'm already a subscriber).  I think it may be as simple as that - does anyone have experience of this that could confirm or offer better advice?  Thanks]]>

Screen went black this afternoon, just get a black page on browser or app.  However, if I use VPN to connect to UK, France, Germany or Portugal, it all works fine.  However, without VPN, nothing!

Thinking it may have been blocked by Movistar or by Spain.  Welcome any feedback from any other users please.

From approximately 3:00 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. it was not possible to have a connection through Movistar's fiber or the 3.4 or 5G service of mobile telephony.



In this sense, many users had to return to more traditional forms of entertainment, such as looking for a good book or resuming a pending conversation. Football fans had to go to the analogue radios in their cars to find out what was going on at Madrid Almeria.



It was more complicated for the people who work thanks to the network, who were not able to carry out their tasks on Sunday afternoon.

The Councilor for New Technologies, Pedro Armas, coordinates all the possibilities with different telephone and communication companies

All municipal projects in execution or to be executed soon, include the channeling of Fiber Optics so that telephone companies respond to the numerous requests. "The improvement of connectivity with Fiber Optic allows us to present the towns of the Municipality as a welcoming and residential destination for online work projects," says the mayor, Matías Peña.



"The objective is to promote the installation of Fibre Optics in every corner of the Municipality", says the mayor, Matías Peña García, and in this sense, the City Council of Antigua "has done its homework, providing the telephone companies with the channelling network they need", and adds the municipal councillor, "it is now the turn of the companies to give an effective response to the demand they have for requests".



The City Council of Antigua includes in all municipal projects and actions, the pre-installation of Fiber Optics, as well as responds and facilitates to the installation companies of telephone companies, what they need for the installation in the towns or localities where they are working.



Within this framework of action, says the Councilor for New Technologies, Pedro M. Armas, we work in coordination with these Fiber Optic installation companies, so that they speed up their installation in those areas and towns with greater neighborhood demand.







The City Council of Antigua has prepared the pre-installation of Fiber Optics in all the works executed or in progress, facilitating the connection and waiting for action by the telephone companies.

I know using mobile data is a bit hit and miss as it depends on how strong the signal is at your location. There, we are fortunate as there is a massive phone mast installation right behind the house. I got a full strength signal (4 bars) on 5G and 4G inside the house.

So, advice on suppliers please. We want to package two mobile phones into any new supply (inclusive calls and texts).
