The Hesperia Bristol Playa hotel in Corralejo is to be re-branded next year as the "Amigo Fuerteventura Resort".  This follows the appointment of American company AMResorts to handle the branding and sales of the hotel.  The owners of the hotel, Grupo Inversor Hesperia, will inject millions of euros to upgrade the hotel, which is expected to open under the new brand in May 2019.

AMResorts is a resort brand management company with 55 resorts and 21,000 rooms in its current portfolio, plus 10,0

4th SOLIDARY EDITION IN FAVOR OF LIMPIAVENTURA

On November 11 a new edition of the most spectacular and longest obstacle course in the insular panorama is celebrated. The approximately 5 kilometers of route and the more than 30 obstacles make the level of requirement to the participants 100%. The test will start at 10.00 am, and as in previous years the youngest can also experience the test organized for them to be held at the end of the adult.

Cine6D - 6D Cinema in Corralejo
I've been told by friend of mine about this new attraction in Corralejo.

There's not much info online except quite good reviews and I thought there must be somebody on the forum who already tried the 6D Cinema in Corralejo. I believe this cinema is the only one of its kind  in Fuerteventura and although I had an experience on something similar more than 10 years ago, I'm sure this one will be even more fun.

New Petrol Station for Corralejo

It's been needed for some time as the one in the main street is so busy the vehicles in the queue often block the main street. As for the Shell garage down the bottom of the town that is now surrounded by pedestrianised areas...…..

La Luna - Corralejo
This bar/restaurant is sited underneath the Dunas Club in the Bristol seafront area of Corralejo. Despite being 'underneath' it is actually at street level! It enjoys great views across to Lobos and Lanzarote. Plenty of seating in the covered terrace area or inside. Excellent prompt service. Extensive breakfast, lunch and dinner menus with lots of Spanish dishes. A breakfast here is a real treat (so only very occasionally!) as it means we don't need to eat again all day Big Grin

New property developments Corralejo
Saw this poster today, 48 chalets at Tamaragua and 70 Viviendas de Proteccion Oficial. Not quite sure what the latter are or where they are planned for. Anyone go to the meeting or know more about these?
