The Candelaria  and San Blas Fiesta takes place in La Oliva from 25 Jan-8 Feb.

The Events include Music concerts, a Young Peoples night, religious service and procession, a Trail run, a Festival of Humour, a Latino Festival, Childrens Events and fireworks on the night of Sat 1st Feb.

Two more former Mayors of La Oliva, Rosa Fernández (PSOE) and Claudina Morales (CC), have been disqualified from public office for eight and nine years, respectively.
