So we did :-
4 of us went to KD Ohana yesterday evening for dinner, Karina explained more about their operations and as at this moment there is only her and her partner Dave who does all the cooking. All cooking is made fresh no reheats or part cooked being finished hence the reason service might be a bit slower than what you are used to.
We had an excellent meal, started was garlic bread, we were going to order 4 portions but Karina told us there were 4 pieces per portion so we ordered 2 portions between the 4 of us. there was Scampi and homemade chips, Chillie con carne with rice and chips, cottage pie with chips, and mine which was a giant homemade Yorkshire pudding filled with a savoury mince in a beautiful flavoursome gravy and the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had in Fuerteventura, with carrots green beans (and peas if you want them which I didn’t) Normally when you get mash in Fuerteventura they either put to much butter or milk through it and it is sloppy. NOT HERE, I got lovely fluffy mash with just the right amount of butter only criticism was I would like a squeeze of black pepper and salt through my mash, but I was able to add this.
I had 2 glasses of red wine a Chilean merlot, my wife had an Italian Pinot Gricio, and the others had Diet Coke and fizzy waters. Total bill €70.50, very good value especially for the quality. The wine was the Jack Rabbit brand never had it before and really very nice, came in those small glass bottles.

I am really excited to see how this young couple develop their restaurant and look forward to dining there again before we go home, especially as it is literally across the road from my apartment.

We had lunch there yesterday, from the outside it is impressive and the inside is well-decorated and furnished, and the staff are very friendly, I had Ravioli with Porcini mushrooms and Parmesan, and management had meat Lasagne, both of which were excellent, the downside was the portions, I had an Italian mother and was brought up on Italian cooking and it is my go-to food very often, and I have eaten Italian food all over The World, and I have never seen Lasagne served with fried potatoes, and basically the plate contained a large spoonful of Lasagne and half a plate of fried potatoes, my Ravioli was about 6/7 pieces of ravioli and sauce, I don,t have a great appetite but I must admit it was insufficient, and for my wife to comment on the size of the portions is very unusual as she barely eats enough to feed a sparrow, the other thing I found off-putting was the prices on the menu to not include tax, it states on the bottom of the menu that this is the case, nonetheless IMHO the menu should include the total cost, the two meals plus two bottles of water a glass of wine and one portion of Tirimasu { which was average } came to €42 €44.94 after tax, it is safe to say we will not be rushing back.]]>

What a kip, 10 minutes waiting to order a drink and food, 30 minutes for starters when they delivered 1 out of 4 after 10 minutes and the rest of us left waiting despite complaining.
 I wanted to walk out but the other 3 wanted to stay, over the course of 30-40 minutes at least 5 other tables walked off. 
I WILL NEVER BE BACK
Highly Recommended to AVOID 

We’ve just walked out now, I gave them €50 begrudgingly they don’t deserve it, it covers the drinks and the starters.

NEVER WILL I DARKEN THEIR DOORSTEP AGAIN

Another negative - the disabled toilets. I was waiting on the gents and needed to go so I used the disabled.

The toilet seat was broken off the bowl and thrown in the corner , there was no paper towels for drying your hands and the people had been using the toilet paper and the dispenser was broken and very little toilet paper left.]]> I tried to post this last night but had problems with my mobile phone trying to access the forum.

Not a huge menu but big enough. Food is quite pricey, so good for a special meal. Situated right on the promenade, so excellent view of the sea (though overlooking the hotels' infinity pool - not a pretty sight).
Pretty sure it is Portuguese based fare (the Bacalao a la portugues is a bit of a giveaway). I had said cod dish and Jill had fillet steak (she wanted Beef Wellington but it was 'finished' - maybe another way of saying can't be bothered to do it).
It was a very hot afternoon and there was no breeze so we were wilting.
Service was a little slow but that doesn't bother us if we have something to drink.
Complementary bread roll with three 'dips' (alioli, chilli oil and mustard butter).
Jill usually has a couple of glasses of red wine and I sometimes have a white and a bottle of still water.
Now bearing in mind that the cheapest red wine was listed at €15 and white at €14, I was pleasantly surprised that the wine was only €2 per glass and was very drinkable (the water was €1.50). I was expecting it to be €4 to be honest.
The total bill was €68.50.
