Has anyone any idea where the taxi company operate from, I tried to get a taxi from a Bar in Caleta last night and was told they do not do pick ups from there  well they did Tuesday last and the previous Friday, I would like to contact them and find out what the issue is

Any chance they misheard you and thought you meant something out of area? I've never had trouble with them misunderstanding me, though. 

The Puerto taxi people, however, are another story.  My Spanish accent is apparently so terrible that once an operator got so fed up with my attempts to explain where we were that she hung up...! 

Perhaps they just didn't have any taxis available and that was the lazy way of getting rid of you? If you do get an answer back, please follow up with the story; I'm interested to know how this turns out. If there are areas of Caleta they've decided they're no longer covering, it would be good info to have!

There is no chance they misheard me Ducks, I got a distinct impression that when I mentioned where I was it was a no-no, I will follow up as this is crazy I was collected from there last Tuesday without an issue
