The organization of the Insular Craft Fair, Antigua City Council and Mafasca Collective Foundation, announce the correction of the dates of celebration of the next edition from Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 in the same month of May.
The correction of the dates of celebration of the XXXIII Insular Craft Fair the last and not the first week of the month of May, amends the initial announcement made by the organization, confirming the days 26, 27, 28 and 29 May for the enjoyment of this main event.
The mayor of Antigua, Matías Peña García, highlights the responsible and scrupulous work carried out by the technicians involved from the secretariat, the legal department or the Department of Culture itself, pointing out the effort of the same since it was decided to resume the celebration of the Insular Craft Fair, also deciding a new location with the variation and complexity that entails.
The XXXIII Insular Craft Fair in Antigua 2022 is therefore held from Thursday 26 to Sunday 29, the last week of May, in the Plaza de Antigua and its surroundings, distributing about 200 stalls, as well as stages, rest areas, parking areas, facilitating access and displacement, and coordinating a control and security device necessary for its correct development.
All these aspects entail an important responsibility to finalize every detail for the greatest enjoyment of the visits that are expected in these four days of the fair, says the municipal councilor who especially values and congratulates the coordinated and complementary work developed jointly by the Mafasca Collective Foundation with the City of Antigua.
