Population of Caleta de Fuste

I have read that the population of Caleta is 6,000.  Does anyone know more details?  Is this the figure for permanent residents, or does it include the tourist population or not as the case may be.

Has to be permanent residents. No way 6000 would cover all in the busy periods 😁😁

Based on the fact that Windermere & Bowness on Windermere have a permanent population 12,173 I would say 6000 is the permanent population including the 2 Golf Course complexes.

Also when you consider that Barcelo have 887+ room and units that can accommodate up to 7 guests I suspect the visitors can could exceed 20,000

I think the resident population is around 6000 as there are about 12000 tourist beds.
The official figure for residents will depend on who is registered on the empadronamiento. I can imagine that quite a few are not registered and some won't have signed offer if they have returned to their country of origin.
