Adeyu - Tarajalejo

Popped in to Tarajalejo today for coffee and loo on the way to Morro Jable. I love this little bar/cafe/restaurant on the seafront, complete with a muscovy duck! The terrace is on the seafront, the main building is across the road. Sit back and enjoy the view and the sound of the waves lapping on the beach. (Decent loos!)

Went here for lunch today. No sign of the duck   hope it hasn't been on the menu!

4 x coffee, basket of bread and dips, 1 x fresh fish fillet, chips & salad, and 1 x Ropa Vieja. 24€. Very quick service, food was lovely. Got there about 12.30 and had pick of tables. When we left around 2pm there were several groups waiting for tables. Prob 60 covers outside on terrace, 20 inside across road where kitchens, bar and loos are. Place is closed Weds and Thurs.
Saw other people being served with steaks and pizzas - all looked scrummy!

The Good, the Bad, and it nearly got Ugly!

We went to Adeyu for lunch today, arrived before the main lunch crowd, prompt service and I had the best, the very best pizza that I have ever eaten! I only managed half of it and asked for the rest for Take Away as I have done many times before. Paid the bill, including a generous tip for good service and great food. Asked for my Take Away, waitress disappeared into kitchen, came out and said, sorry it's been thrown away! No offer to refund some Money, no offer to cook another pizza. 
Unfortunately we hadn't got time to stay and argue the toss/insist they cooked another pizza as we had a looming appointment in Puerto.

I'll think twice before going back again which is a real shame as the pizzas are wonderful.

They've always been closed when we go there - must always be Wed/Thurs. Similar thing happened to us at La Morocha in El Cotillo but fair play they did cook us another steak.

Went back to Adeyu today - food was as good as always. Had a Napolitana pizza, gorgeous, but again only managed half at the time. Had gone prepared with my own container for take away so no problems today! 2 or 3 coffees, 2 large coke zero, 2 large beers, house special burger, chicken sandwich and the pizza, 26€.

Back at Adeyu today, napolitana pizza, burger, 2 coffees, 1 diet cola, 16.90E. Lovely trip out despite the poor air quality, very bad visibility all day. Delighted that Adeyu have pet muscovy ducks again 👍😍
