Nordysur bike race they disqualified any rider who dropped litter, or water bottles at the refreshment stops. Fixed the problem of litter everywhere after the race. Maybe the organisers should have had a similar penalty if they want to run this event again.
The organiser must take some responsibility for cleanup.
After the big beach concert at Gran Tarajal the sand and promenade were left spotless. (Unlike Glastonbury.)

anyone (Waggy perhaps) know what this is? The strands grow rapidly and engulf the supporting plants creating a thick web.

Corralejo dunes today - continued
I had hoped to spot a dune crocus (the proper name escapes me) and was delighted to see hundreds of them - far more than I've ever seen before.
to my dismay when I got home and uploaded the pics I realised I had left the rusty tin where I found it.
If you go walking through the dunes please be very careful where you step, these crocus (and numerous other tiny plants) are almost invisible unless you are specifically looking for them.

Did anyone spot the bug next to the crocus?
Ducks, no it's NOT a cockroach

I'd forgotten the bug Archer - good spot. Any idea what it is?
Ducks - I have a feeling that you might get roach jokes for a while to come
