I understand there is now a local office/shop in Caleta for Aguas Antigua. Can someone please tell me where it is and the opening hours?

I had occasion to visit re residencia number or passport or something similar.
Very efficient and easy to deal with. Out in about 10 minutes and drinking coffee at the corner. Bit of friendly advice, go early. EDIT Possibly talking about Oficina de Turismo, not Aguas Antigua, LOL. Will remove it and shoot a PM to Rasputin. Sam. EDIT #2 Restored. Sam.

Not much point trying to help people when you’re posts are removed.

If you are a resident you can apply for a reduced water tariff.
I'm on this tariff.

The auld heads going I can’t recall if it was my resedencia number or my passport. And yes captain there is some small discount on water charges but both myself and er indoors would need to be there at the same time with all our paperwork. The once we attempted to do it were given the runaround and we said Eff for a game of soldiers and haven’t attempted it since. This was when the only office was on the way to Antigua.

I went to their office about 3 years ago on my own to get the discount applied which I believe to be 20% took our water bill, the guy at the desk asked for confirmation of residency, flashed my NIE card and out of there in under ten minutes.

Anyone know if this discount is just for Aguas Antigua or whether it applies to all the water companies on the island?

As we are on Fuerteventura Golf our water company is Anjoca Aguas Canarias
For comparison we get billed every 2 months (61 to 63 days) from actual meter reads, there is however a minimum 10 cu mt charge. The charges are standing charge per period of 6.01€ plus 1.83€ per cu mt consumed and 0.39 per cu mt for disposal. These prices haven't been increased in the 3 years we have had our villa. Just for interest United Utilities (North West Water) who take most of their water from the Lakes on our door step charge - Consumed £1.922 per cu mt plus £0.085 standing charge per day Waste Water £1.2669 per cu mt plus £0.01874 per day standing plus a rainwater removal standing charge of £0.2881 per day, what gets me is as we are only 500mts from the lake our rain water goes straight into a beck that feeds the lake for them to then supply back to us. Hope that helps.
