#1
Are there any charity shops in/near Caleta that take books?

There's a Beauty Salon where you can donate them - Katrina's Light Touch Therapies. They sell (not only) second hand books to raise Money for animal charities.

I believe this shop is now closed, does anyone know of another Caleta PR or Corallejo? preferably not cat friendly, as I have a lifelong loathing of cats

I don't know about charity shops but if you want to get rid of books the shop below is what you are looking for:

Books Cards & Things, Calle Acorazado España, Calle Antonia Morera Rodriguez, 4, 35660 Corralejo

John, the Mission in Puerto run a clothing store for poor families on the island, and they are always looking for donations.

I might be able to arrange a collection or a Caleta drop off point if you want to pm me.

I've asked the question John and as soon as they answer, I will get back to you. I assume you can drop off more or less anytime, but I want to check first to save you a wasted journey.
