How great it was to take a walk this morning. Strictly 1 hour and within 1 Km of home.

Just amazed how many people were in Cotillo - where have they all been hiding!

Also noticed how friendly everyone was. Almost without exception people smiled,  waved or spoke. Has 7 weeks of isolation made us more sociable?

View of La Concha Beach, almost empty, a very rare sight usually.

100% Cotillo based.

Another hour and half plus walk this morning, very few folk out walking a few cyclists and a fair amount of traffic on the road, saying that it was going to work time.

A walk around Corralejo harbour this morning:

[Image: r4avOHC.jpg] [Image: CjzITAv.jpg] boat being brought in for maintenance.

[Image: s1IQq3L.jpg] La Lonja café (adjoining the fish market) having seven shades of **** knocked out of it - the sledge hammers were going full swing. Hopefully a much needed refurb!

While I was there a fisherman unloaded his catch - 2 gorilla buckets of fish - and brought them over to the market hall. Put them down to stop and speak to someone and a large gull swooped in and pinched a fish right under his nose! The fisherman chased the gull towards the water, shouting and waving his arms and while he did so another gull got another fish! I was laughing so hard I missed the photo op and only managed to catch the gull sitting on a nearby boat enjoying it's bounty!

This morning took a trip to the Tindaya Boot - Fair, met up with and had a nice chat with Tamara.  Went on to El Cotillo and out toward the light house, couldn't believe how busy it was along the beach and then how many Motor homes there were along the lagoons.
