A baby of what looks like a common dolphin (Delphinus delphis) has been found dead this morning in the breakwater of Puerto del Rosario. Some workers came after the alert of some neighbors.
The animal that barely exceeds one meter in length does not present, apparently fatal injuries and probably approached the coast after becoming disoriented and losing contact with adults.
The agents of Environment have already been alerted and will proceed to evacuate it to perform the necropsy to clarify the reasons for the death.
