The 2023 rabies vaccination and identification campaign begins in Antigua.
The City Council of Antigua organizes from the Department of Health, the municipal campaign of Rabies Vaccination and Identification 2023, offering at an economic cost the vaccine for 6 euros and the implantation of microchip for 15 euros.

"As every year, facilitating the vaccination of animals to owners registered in the Municipality is the objective of this campaign offering economic prices, bringing vaccination centers closer to the homes of the owners, as well as diversifying in three weekends and at different times in the morning and afternoon, the shifts to vaccinate or implant the chip to our animals, " explains Mayor Matías Peña García.
«The campaign begins this Saturday, April 15 in El Durazno, Antigua, from 09:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m., and in the afternoon in Agua de Bueyes from 16:00 p.m. to 20:00 p.m.", explains the Councilor for Health, Pedro M. Armas, "continuing the following Saturday, April 22 at the Caleta de Fuste Cultural Center in the morning and in Los Alares in the afternoon, and ending on Saturday, April 29 at the cultural center of Casillas de Morales in the morning and in the afternoon in the old school of Triquivijate".
The City Council of Antigua reminds the owners that it is mandatory to register in the Census Register of Companion Animals of the City of Antigua, within three months from the date of birth or thirty days in case of acquisition, change of residence of the animal or temporary transfer.
