El Patio Caleta
#1
This place used to be our go-to restaurant 4/5 years ago, but whether we became bored with it or the food seemed to be not as good, however, we stopped going  there and no stick to Ascension or 555, last night I left it too late to get a reservation at Ascension, and 555 is closed for holidays so we decided to give El patio another go, as I have read some decent reviewswe arrived at 19;00 placed our orders and then waited for 25 mins for them to arrive, and it was not particularly busyI had ordered ribs which arrived burnt and to be honest were not of great quality either my rice was welded to the plate, my wife ordered oso Buco which came with rice mashed potatoes and aubergines in fairness the Oso Buco was excellent but the potatoes had not been seasoned and the sauce that covered the veg had dried and was stuck to the plate, one of the people with us ordered chicken breast which came with chips and was very good, the other ordered Lasagne which again was very very dry, it would appear to me that they were left under a grill to keep warm while one of the dishes, you have to assume the chicken was being prepared, never again.
