Sorry, two slightly different questions.
We bought a dishwasher from Euronics about 6 months ago but it is not draining properly - we tracked it down to an issue with the discharge pump.
We will contact Euronics, but does anyone know how they deal with problems under warranty? Send a mechanic out, take it away for checking or what? I just want to be prepared for the conversation with them.
Also can anyone recommend a good plumber in the North of the island? We did contact Jerome who Tom recommended, but Jerone is off the island for 3 week.
Thanks folks!
Bill

Go into Euronics, explain the issue, they will have someone who speak English there, although they may try to stall you.
Ask for it to be replaced, as Not fit for purpose ….. or ask for a time when an Engineer will come to repair it.
If they try to “stall” you, ask for Hoja de reclamation (The Complaints book). They have to give you this by law and you can fill in the documents in English. It is a VERY serious issue for a company to have this book with a complaint, they will probably sort you out quickly.
Even better, take a fluent Spainish speaking person with you before you ask for the Complaints book.

We had a issue with a fridge. They (then called Electron, but now known as Euronics) sent an engineer out 3 or 4 days later who fixed what was a very simple issue. Think twice about refusing a repair - the right to a full replacement is time limited here.
Think the complaint book has now gone online nationality, so the requirement for keeping a physical book no longer applies.
Personally, I would only make it an official complaint if they just refused to help in anyway. I suggest you go into the store, tell them the problem, show the receipt and they will try hard to resolve the matter for you.
Tom.

Many thanks Tom - that is really good to know. I wasn't sure if they had local engineers or not. I'll get onto them, but failing that get in contact with Simone.
Cheers.
