Excursion to Lanzarote
#1
My parents are coming over to stay with my wife and I for a week and I want to take them for a trip to Lanzarote to see Timanfaya, I have tried to book the 4 of us plus car on the ferry through direct ferries but it will only allow me to either book the 4 passengers as non resident or all 4 resident, short of doing 2 separate bookings does anyone have any experience in booking this trip.

Thanks
Willie

Welcome to the forum, Willie!

Have you also considered to book "Volcano Express" from Corralejo and leave the car in the town? Tickets are like 40-50 Euro per person and you don't have to worry about anything ...just a thought.

I book tickets for mixed residents and non-residents on the Naviera Armas site. State Resident in the early part of the booking and then later you have to complete the details for each individual - you can choose General/General at this point as opposed to General/Resident or Over 60/Resident etc. I haven't tried it for Fred Olsen but when I've looked in the past there was very little difference in price.

I agree with Tamara as I have just enquired for taking my brother to Lanzarote, car, 2 residents and 2 non residents no problem.

The other option is go to the Armas office in Corralejo they are very helpful, plus that way you are then put in the system for that trip and future trips with your residency details and get your tickets straight away and don't have to arrive slightly early to go and verify your residency.

Hope that helps
