Fitting Gas Cooker - Regulations?
#1
So I am really fed up with our ***** induction stove, and have actually restored to cooking some dishes with a camping stove using tiny camping gas bottles.

Are there any regulations that anyone has come across about having a proper gas stove fitted?
I think I remember something about the gas bottle must remain outside, and have a separate cabinet?

Did you ever get a gas hob fitted?
I'd be interested to hear what the rules are, suppliers etc.

Needs to be certified by a qualified gas fitter - I believe there are only 4 on the island (so I was told). Needs to have proper permanent ventilation in the room -  2 vents, one low down and one near the ceiling (need to a minimum size). Of course if you have a gas bottle already you could get Bob down the bar to fit it.
