"Greenlaning" in Fuerte

So after finally finding a car I wanted on the Penninsula, and timing my trip perfectly to be there "on business" so as to not break lockdown rules... I came back, and within a few days had to do what I have been dreaming of for over a year now.
This is Green Laning in Fuete, No Mud, No Bog Holes, No Ditches.

If anyone else has a 4x4 and wishes to join in the future, let me know. 
I will be trying to build up a map of all the green lanes on Fuerte, and may even record some videos of the adventures.

Please note, must be an actual 4 wheel drive vehicle and not just an SUV. i will be taking some crazy paths and hills which will need all the traction possible.

If you are interested in tagging along and do not have a 4x4 but rather a SUV, please also ping me. Some trips and routes may be suitable for non 4x4 vehicles and I will be building up a set of recovery gear.

Here is mine from October '18 on the coastal track from Pozo Negro back to Salinas del Carmen.

In the late 90's, whilst on holiday I hired a 4x4 and went around the coast of the island as far as possible on tracks close to the sea.

I enjoyed it but my wife and children found it a bit scary. I'll always remember them screaming as I came down off the cliff top into Los Molinos.

CS: Yup, I could imagine my wife doing the same. She already said multiple times "Are you sure the car can go there, its not going to roll over"

Haha, I will have to take that track.

Will try to find a site that has all the Fuerte tracks on it, and if I cant find anything, then I might just make my own

Google Earth shows a lot of the tracks (Non tarmacked) you can take, start by looking at the area south of El Cotillo.

Haha we ended up on that road exactly on our first week on the island in a little hired Clio, made it in the end but was cursing for quite a bit 😅 
Lunch in molinos made it all worth while. :-)
