Happy Plants - Tefia

A word of warning for anyone thinking about buying plants for their garden - buy soon - HP are seriously considering closing down in March 2022 if they have not found a buyer for the business.
I'll be lost - a visit there is like visiting a botanical garden in the UK. I'm so glad that I have virtually finished planting my garden and pray that I don't lose any of the HP 'specials' that I have   Fingers Crossed

I see that they are advertising for staff so I assume that they won't be closing any time soon.

I was there a couple of weeks ago.
They are not closing yet

Trying to sell the business, and if no interest by the end of the year they will evaluate.

The iconic mini is for sale... I think it was €4k but is a bit of a rust bucket despite having low KMs

I first went there in 2014, and he was trying to sell then if I member correctly, he wanted to take a job in S Africa it struck me then as a huge investment with a very narrow appeal, but what do I know?

Hello dear emigrants
A well going garden center is sold: after 20 years the owners have reached the age to write books and retire.
What they have realised here in Fuerteventura is unique.
As you can see from the photos, they have created a wonderful garden paradise  - from the scratch - and no visitor will ever forget : almost 700 different plants, an own cactus breeding and a plantation of about 20.000 Aloe Vera plants are the basis for a successful "gardening in the desert".
So if you are looking for a new exciting occupation on our enchanting island, and you have an appropriate capital investment, you can realise an exclusive business idea here, which can literally change your whole life.
Please send us a PM and in return you will receive our informative object-presentation as a YOUTUBE FILM worth seeing

Smile Smile Smile Smile I just copied it of Facebook John, I did not proof read it Rolleyes Rolleyes but yes almost certainly means being sold, I think the wording is Americanised, I am sure I have seen it used that way n the states,  and we all know they invented English

An update, straight from the horse's mouth, aka Saskia Wink

The business has been sold to a younger couple who will be able to inject new life and passion into the business. The official handover will take place in a few weeks, probably 3 weeks from now. At that point the business is likely to close for a while so that the new owners can make some repairs and restock. It should reopen in the autumn. In these last few weeks the business is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. There are still many trees, cacti and other plants available. Cactus substrate is available but no other substrates are left at present.

The new owners will take over the FB page and other Internet presences so progress can be monitored there.

I'm sure many of you will join me in wishing Paul and Saskia well in their new, completely different, future endeavours in Tenerife!
