Yes, at the moment the IBI goes out at the beginning of May, and the bin tax & car tax in October.

It might change after the local elections though!

Can I ask why, what bearing does who is on the council, or which party is the ruling party have on when taxes are paid? how much is paid I can see but when?

I'm just going on what's happened in the past, John.  Dates have been changed over the past 15 years - at one time all the DD's went out at once, then they split them up and then they switched them round!  It's only over the past 3 or 4 years that things have stayed the same.
