IBI payment for this year

I have just received this Email from the Ayumento. I was not confused before I read it as ours is paid by Direct Debit, now I am confused


VOLUNTARY PERIOD

 

By means of this, the taxpayers are informed that on the business days between  April 01 TO September 30, 2020, BOTH INCLUSIVE , the following corresponding taxes will be collected, in a voluntary period. to the financial year 2020 ( YOU MAY NOT BE A TAXPAYER, HAVE DOMICILIED TAXES OR HAVE THEM PAID , THIS MESSAGE IS MERELY INFORMATIVE) :

 

• URBAN REAL ESTATE TAX (IBIU)
  
  
• RATE FOR THE ENTRY OF VEHICLES THROUGH THE SIDEWALKS AND RESERVATIONS OF THE PUBLIC ROAD FOR EXCLUSIVE PARKING, LOADING OR UNLOADING OF GOODS OF ANY KIND (FORD)
  

Payment can be made at the banks indicated below, after obtaining the corresponding payment letter , or at the collection office located in the Office of the Mayor of Caleta de Fuste or at this Town Hall located at C / Marcos Trujillo , 1 with credit card.

I spoke with someone at La Oliva ayuntamiento this morning with regard payments. I generally pay both the Circulation tax and the IBI at the same time as a matter of convenience. Whilst it is possible to pay the Circulation tax now, it is not possible to pay the IBI until the 15th of July. Dates for both items have been extended without the surcharge to September 15th for the Circulation tax and October 15th for the IBI.

To pay the what...? This is news to me; I've never heard of this before. Should I be worried?

Has there been any indication yet as to when IBI direct debits will be taken?

No payment relief here for us! They took both taxes last week on DD

Surely that isn’t right. IBI, yes normally May/June but Basura isn’t normally paid until October as far as I remember from last couple of years 🤔🤔
