Call to visit the Interpretation Centre of Guisguey. On December 11, the town opened the doors of this new space that shows the public the meaning of the cultural and historical legacy of the town of Majorera and that makes known the most significant aspects related to traditional life.
In the new Interpretation Center, the role and meaning of the historical and cultural heritage of the ancient majoreros is explained through the recreation inside an old house where a didactic summary of the history, flora, fauna and ethnographic heritage of Guisguey is reflected through explanatory panels, whose informative incorporation has had the collaboration of the Department of Tourism directed by Sonia Álamo.
The facilities can be visited at any time where, in addition, visitors can enjoy the traditional ethnographic Bethlehem made by the neighbors of the town with recycled wooden pallets.
Recently, the mayor of the City council of Puerto del Rosario,Juan Jiménez, accompanied by the Councilor for Works and Services, José Juan Herrera, visited the new space located in the town square, [b]surprised by the "magnificent work" that the neighborhood association 'Los Pajeros' has done with this new project that, in addition, joins the existing 'Guisguey Chico', the model that represents some places and various social activities of Guisguey's recent past.
