Parque Holandes track

Does anyone have any update on how the asphalting of the track from Parque Holandes to the motorway is going? It has been completely closed now for several months.

Not sure about the road , however the old bus stop was removed over the weekend. Looks like the new one will just in front of Don Pepes.

We walk a path from Parque Holandes to Lajares via Villaverde and it was our intention to do the walk at Christmas when we are over. Does anyone know if the road workings effects this path please?

That is the path we are talking about. It has been closed to vehicles while resurfacing continues, but there seems to be nothing to stop you walking along it. They will only be working on a small section at a time, if at all.
Quite what happens to motorists who turn off the motorway following the Parque Holandes junction signs I do not know. You can't get back on to the southbound carriageway so presumably they have to return to Corralejo. When I was last there, there were no signs on the motorway that the road was closed.

We turned off for parque holandes only to find the link road still closed.
There is no way to rejoin the south bound motorway so technically you have no choice but to head back towards Corralejo.
HOWEVER we opted to take the track to the other fly over bridge (that goes nowhere)and then down to the apartments just south of Jablito.
Our car is a standard Hyundai IX20 and the track is OKish but not in a hire car.
There does seem to be a couple of "track"options.
The slip road in PH is also closed off
