Morning Willie

We pay a reduced rate, but that I believe is because we are of pensionable age, one thing I do know is for OTC medicines, The Farmacia in Antigua is far cheaper than the ones in Caletta

We always use the chemists in Puerto or the one in El Matorral, as they are cheaper than the ones in Caleta.

Also, if you want paracetemol - ask for the cheapest otherwise they'll sell you the more expensive one.

If you have a Spanish National Health card, you get 90% off prescriptions. For instance, my wife pays 24cents for a months supply of blood pressure tablets.

For non prescription items in Caleta i find the pharmacy on the White Centre always  give out the most expensive of their products albeit paracetamol or whatever, but the new one opposite Pan Tarajal, always give me a choice and if they have a 'special offer' on something i need, always offer that choice too- usually two for one etc.
