We stayed here recently, on a short-break bought locally.
This Club offers plenty of activities for the energetic, like tennis, watersports, gym etc. Three pools, at least two heated.
The walk down to the beach is only for the mildly fit, especially if it's very hot.
Loads of sunbeds around the pools, and scattered throughout the very well kept gardens. These are the gem of this place.
Accommodation is a bit dated, in many separate 2-storey blocks, all named after the islands. We were in 'Lanzarote' which was a fair hike from the main restaurants/reception. They have a pickup service for luggage and drop-off your bags outside your door when you arrive. The bathrooms have been updated. Some rooms have spectacular views.
This is a big place and can accommodate maybe 1000+ guests. There are loads of 'staff' called Robins wherever you go. That's because the concept from TUI is to take on loads of 'interns' from around the world and give them 3-6 months trial and training. We met only one Brit.
Great place for kids, if you can afford to take them there. Two clubs for different age groups with activities all day long and they teach the kids to swim, if required, at the Sharkclub.
The food was pretty good, with loads of choices, and the 'Wellchoice' concept with all healthy options. All drinks were the proper real deal. Not cheap local copies. And cava and cake, etc available every afternoon.
Friday night is their big Gala Dinner night, as most leave on a Saturday.
The downsides were few, but don't expect much English OR Spanish to be spoken. You could suspend belief and think you were in Germany! And it's a bit like a prison at the gates, as they 'lock' you in as no-one needs id or wristbands. And the main restaurant was heaving, particularly on Gala Night. Very difficult to find somewhere to sit. 95% of tables are large 8 or 10 seat shared seating.
All-in-all, a pretty good place if you can get a good deal. When we were there Expedia were selling it at over €400/night!
