Smoking regulations

Can you tell me the current smoking regulations please?

It appears to have gone back to pre-pandemic situation but a few bars/restaurants seem to have chosen not to reintroduce smoking on their terraces by not putting out ashtrays. 
As before, no smoking anywhere public indoors or on public transport.
