The white tide of the Tetir Day Carnival returns on July 9.
After two years of forced hiatus, motivated by the health crisis of COVID-19, the Tetir Day Carnival returns with the same illusion as always to turn the town into a great white tide, on Saturday, July 9.
The Cultural, Recreational and Gastronomic Association of Friends of the Tetir Day Carnival, organizer of the event, with the collaboration of the Vega de Tetir Neighborhood Association, the Tetir CF Union, Casa Fausto and the City Council of Puerto del Rosario, are already working to coordinate tasks and provide this celebration with all the sanitary measures, of security and cleanliness necessary to guarantee the enjoyment of the attendees since, as usual, a large influx of public from the island and the rest of the archipelago is expected.
The organization is also working on making an attractive program of musical performances and other novelties of which it will be informed as they are confirmed.
In addition to the essential ingredient of talcum powder, it will have the participation of the most representative groups of our municipality that will remind us that it is a Carnival party, displaced at the beginning of the summer period by health circumstances, giving an exotic touch to it.
