Great news. Not just saving some Money but the time you had to spend to pay for the certificate too. As well as the time somebody in the office would spend dealing with the payment, wasting even more resources. It's always nice to see the common sense in the action.

From the bits I read (and maybe understand ) I get the feeling this new Mayor Matias Peña seems to  be pushing for a lot of new things and generally seems very energetic. His heart seems to be in the right place but whether the "systems" are in place for reform, is another thing.

It's the same in Pajara as well, I always made sure I had some change with me but last time I went I needed a more important document that I was told would cost almost €10 but it took so many months for them to process it that by the time I picked it up it had become free  Smile

I imagined it was the socialists who had done away with some charges that the conservatives had brought in.... but I didn't ask too many questions as I held on to my €10 note Wink
