Thanks for suggesting Armas. I imagine the GT Ideal will carry the same stock as Electron but will take a look in the Corrie branch. Thanks again.

We got a very good top loading rotary washing machine from electron the Christmas before last, it’s a lovely slimline model, so easy to fit and handle. My wife loves it especially for its programs where you can set a low temperature and short time for finding out light clothes.

I'm going to be in the same situation in the next couple of weeks - buying a new washing machine.

My query is more about the old one - how do you get rid of them? Do the folk that deliver the new one generally take them away for recycling or do you have to make special arrangements yourself to dispose of them. Can't say I fancy trying to get the old machine in the back of the hire car to take to the PdR disposal site!

That's good news Captain, I'll keep my fingers crossed that they're still doing the same.

You just need to say it to them when you are paying that you want the old one taken away. In my case I had a loan of a van so no problem to bring the old one with us when buying the new one, I did the plumbing myself.
