What's the weather like? - August 2021

Yesterday continued warmer than forecast it was still 24C at 21:00.

The usual bank of cloud off to the West and circa 20% cloud cover everywhere else
Temperature currently 25C in the shade, and in the sun feels closer to 30 C
Wind N/Easterly 10/12 Kph

Forecast:- The cloud to clear by mid morning leaving a warm and sunny day with temperatures in the mid to high 20,s,but given that it is already that I would expect low to mid 30,s wind to increase slightly but only to 14/16 KPH

A much warmer day than forecast, At 13:30 it was 34 C in the Shade and 42 C in direct sun on one of our terraces and felt like it, it is currently 27Cin the shade and circa 35 in the sun a hazy but cloudless sky with a gentle N/Easterly breeze.

Today

At 07:30 with the exception of the normal bank of cloud on the Eastern horizon there was a clear blue sky with a shade temperature of 21 C however i was talking to a friend in Antigua at 08:45, and at that time there was a lot of cloud there all be it light and high, now at 09:45 that cloud has migrated to Caleta and we have 40% cloud cover with a shade temperature of 24 C very much ot the forecast.

Forecast:-
A warm sunny day with temperatures in the mid to high 20,s and a gentle N/easterly breeze of 13/15KPH, the wind is expected to increase slightly as the day goes on, but not significantly.

The forecast looking forward to Mid September is very similar

While the cloud has not completely cleared it has had little or no effect on the temperatures. 31 C in the shade at 13:00 and currently the shade temperature is 28 C  with a temperature of 37 C in the sun, {but it feels warmer than that to be honest} with a gentle breeze.

Yesterday, continued as forecast although early evening the wind picked up 2018/20 Kph but by 21:00 had redede again the outside Temperature was still 24C at 00:45

Tuesday 08:00

excluding the usual morning bank of cloud to the East and the odd light bit of cloud we have a clear blue sky a ligt N/E breeze of 10/12 KPH and a shade temperature of 23 C.

Forecast:- A warm sunny day.

It is now 11:00 and despite the shade temperature being 30 C there is a lot of cloud building not yet total cloud cover but it looks to be heading that way, and it is very muggy.

Fortunately the build up of cloud came to nothing it did look ominous for about 45 minutes, but then thinned out, we have 50/60% cloud cover to the south but it is quickly moving away, shade temperature is 28C and it is 37 C in the sun.
