Yes it rained reasonably heavily here in Caleta in the middle of the night, as WG did not mention it I assume it did not rain where he is.

The State Meteorological Agency joins the pre-alert launched by the Government of the Canary Islands and proposes a yellow warning for rain in Fuerteventura for tomorrow, Friday, from 12 noon.



The Aemet suggests between a 40 and 70 percent real possibility of rainfall on the island of Fuerteventura with accumulations of 20 mm per hour in some areas of the island.



The possibility of heavy showers may be accompanied by thunderstorms and electrical appliances and a general drop in temperatures.

Good morning from Caleta, well we had a short shower of rain mid afternoon, then there has been a number of heavy showers since about 6pm through the night, I must have slept well as I didn't hear any thunder but did hear the rain about 3am

At 7.45am this morning it was 15C but again feels cooler in a moderate wind, 50% cloud cover so no visible sunrise.

At 7.45am this morning it was 14C , not a breath of wind, clear sky all around with only a low thin band of cloud in the distance over the sea so a great sunrise and a little condensation on the car.
