What to do if you have wrong catastral referencia - help !!??

I have just recently been told by the company who are renting out my property in Costa Calma that the Catastral Referencia quoted on my original Copia Simple (when I purchased my property 20 years ago is apparently incorrect)
according to Registradores de Espana.

Has anyone had this problem and how did you rectify this please ??

I may have to remove my property from the VV letting register

I am also concerned that if I come to sell my property in the future I may have a problem if the catastral referencia does not match.

Any help would be appreciated please....

My instinctive answer would be to go back to the lawyer you used for the purchase...assuming they are still going!

I agree the lawyer is supposed to check all this out and if it needs to be rectified then it must be them at their expense.
