The City Council of La Oliva takes a positive balance of the activities scheduled this last week, which gathered thousands of people in different parts of the municipality to attend the scheduled shows, participate in festive Events, and also in training and environmental activities.

The XXII Meeting of Theater and Dance Olivarte recorded full in the Auditorium of Corralejo with shows like The Little Prince, Sunday, and with the Big Band of the Canary Islands on Friday night. Training activities such as the Makeup Workshop for Olivarte Shows, held in the Datsimaal de Villaverde society, or the Graffiti Workshop, organized with the Young with Jeito program, in which the artist Maurice Van Meegdenburgd made a mural in the Cultural Center of Corralejo with the youth of the town.

The concert of Los Gofiones, held in Lajares within the Fiestas de La Milagrosa, also brought together a large audience, as well as the collection of garbage and cleaning carried out with volunteers from the town and with the environmental associations around the town.

The little ones were able to enjoy the Colorete puppet show, held on Friday at the Raíz del Pueblo Cultural Center, as well as the already traditional Children's Theater Encounter, which featured the magnificent performances of the children of the cultural centres of El Cotillo, El Roque, Lajares, Dutch Park, Villaverde, Corralejo and La Oliva, in the Corralejo Auditorium.

All these activities were free, in the effort of the City Council of La Oliva to offer the population leisure, cultural and festive alternatives, and thanking the good reception from the neighbours, and the participation of the collaborating entities.
