At a meeting of organisers last night it was agreed that the theme of the Carnival will be Music, and it will take place in Antigua between 13-16 February 2020 and in Caleta de Fuste between 21-23 February 2020.

We will be moving to the lovely Fuerteventura next year and I am trying to understand what we need to do legally etc.


We will be renting at first and then later down the line looking to purchase a property and there will be myself, my husband, 3 year old son and two doggies!

Just had an email letting me know Ryan air have launched their Summer 2020 schedule and Fuerteventura was one of the suggested destinations for me.

Haven't researched where they are flying from to Fuerteventura and how many flights a weeks etc, that for either a rainy day or heat wave day when I need to sit inside with the AC on 

The Day Carnival in Tetir will be on 4 April 2020 - that is advance publicity for Fuerteventura!

The main Carnival Events in Puerto del Rosario will take place from 22 Feb - 1 Mar 2020.  It will be a local bank holiday in Puerto on Tuesday 25 February which is Martes de Carnivale (the UK's Shrove Tuesday).

The theme is Aztec World, Mexico.
