Shark Attacks Paddleboarder off the Coast of Fuerteventura
According to a report by Antena 3, the man was practising Downwind foil paddling, a high-speed water sport that uses a hydrofoil to glide across the water, when the shark struck. The animal is said to have first attacked his board before biting the man on the leg, leaving him with a deep wound.
