What's your favourite beach in Fuerteventura?
Every beach in Fuerteventura is special, but I reckon we all have a favourite beach - you know, the one you always go back to at least once on every holiday.  My favourite is Sotavento, a stunning location with soft sand, a gentle slope into the sea, and usually fairly calm water.  You can wander barefoot for miles along the water's edge (naked if you like).

However, my wife prefers to lie on a comfy sunbed, and there aren't any at Sotavento, so we often go a bit furthe

SBH Monica Beach
This all-inclusive hotel has been upgraded in recent years and the rooms are quite modern and well-equipped.  I've stayed once and I'd rate it a 3-star experience.  It's next to the beach, there's a big pool and a good pool bar.  The restaurant is in a separate building (which I found a bit strange, but it does help to keep noise and smells contained).  Food, buffet style, was very good, with lots of choice.  The staff are excellent.  I'd go back.

Naturist beach sunloungers
Just wondering if there are any sunloungers used by naturists on the stretch of beach between the Riu Palace Jandia & the Hotel Iberostar Fuerteventura Palace?

I gather that most head towards Morro Jable Lighthouse before stripping off?

Think the beach is Playa del Matorral, any other information that may be helpful is much appreciated

Thanks

Popcorn Beach
Possibly the craziest beach we have been to in Fuerteventura.

You can find it here: Popcorn Beach

This beach is located about 4km (2.5 miles) by car from Corralejo.

JCB on the beach in Caleta?
The digger was out in force again today! Can anyone explain what the function of this is? We see it every couple of months. Are they cleaning? I don't see any kind of filter on the front; it's just pushing the sand up and then flattening it down again, so it seems bonkers to me.

Any insights?

Cotillo Beach Hotel - New owners
The Cotillo Beach Hotel has new owners. Previously privately owned, it has now been purchased by Coral Hotels in what I think is their first hotel outside Tenerife.

No obvious signs of new ownership as yet, but likely to fall into the same method of operation as other hotels in the group in the future.
