Not directly related to fuerteventura, but delighted to see that Dr Janet Anscombe has been recognised in the delayed Birthday Honours list for her excellent work supporting the British community in Teneriffe. Her website https://www.janetanscombe.com/ is an absolute mine of information, most of which is applicable to all of Spain, including Fuerteventura. 

Nice to see some 'ordinary' folk being rewarded instead of TV and film stars and sports celebrities.

I know there used to be a card shop under the San Jorge Hotel,, near the post office,   but  I understand it is shut.    Does anyone know where else we can get Christmas and birthday cards?  Thank you in advance
