British Naturism (BN) - worth joining?
I wonder whether you think it's worth joining BN? I have to confess that I did join in 2017 because we were planning to go to Club Orient in St Martin, and BN membership would have qualified us for a 10% discount on the room rates.  But then Hurricane Irma came along a few weeks later and blew Club Orient away!  And when the renewal came up this year I didn't renew as we're basically holiday naturists in warm climes and aren't really interested in naturist Events in the UK.

British luxury travel agents visiting Fuerte
A group of British travel agents specializing in the luxury holidays are on the island visiting a different places such as Atlantis Hotel Gran Bahía Real, Hotel Sheraton Fuerteventura, Quesos Maxorata, Verdeaurora bio farm. These agents have been invited by the Ministry of Tourism of the Embassy of Spain in the United Kingdom in collaboration with Fuerteventura Tourist Board to promote the island to their clients.

British People Can Vote in Spain (if on the electoral register) after March 29
An agreement was signed last week between the Spanish Government and the UK which will continue to allow British people, who are on the electoral roll in Spain to continue to be able to vote in the Ayuntamiento elections and the European elections as they have in the past.

It also confirms that they can also stand as candidates, and existing councillors will be able to keep their seats.

Anyone who wants to vote in the elections coming up in May 2019 needs to have registered by January 30th

The British Consulate for Las Palmas will be at a meeting in Caleta de Fuste to talk about the effect of Brexit on UK nationals who live in Spain.
It's being held at 6pm on Thursday 14 March in the Cultural Center.

British Store
There are posts on the other forum speculating the British Store in Corralejo is closing. Does anyone know if it is or not? I normally get my Christmas Crackers from them and haven't seen Crackers for sale anywhere else. If it is closing does anyone know of a shop that usually sells Crackers at Christmas time please? Royal British Legion Poppy appeal 2019
I will be once again carrying out the RBL poppy appeal in Fuerteventura.
Work wise I am extremely busy so once again I am asking for a volunteer in the Caleta area who could assist me in the distribution of collection boxes. I will prepare all the boxes/tins etc and would drop them to you...I simply need assistance in dropping the boxes at various shops & bars who participate in the collection.
