I am just curious - there is a site hut compound that has been built recently along the FV413 road between the Costa de Antigua roundabout and Triquivijate.   Green coloured huts,  with a fence around them and another fenced compound across the road, which is empty.

There seems to be vehicles there all the time.

Is this the start of the preparations for the link road to Pozo Negro?  

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Yesterday, Christmas Eve saw The Caleta Scooter Santa's Annual Christmas Charity Ride round the Caleta area.

The Cabildo are putting out to tender for resurfacing and improvement of the FV-2 through Caleta de Fuste, with a budget of 1.9 million euros. It'll take 6 months when work starts.

The Caribbean Carnival 2023 is celebrated in Antigua from February 9 to 12 and from February 17 to 19 in Caleta de Fuste, with parades, Gala Drag, live performances, concerts, Carnival festival and a Carnival arena complete with floats, comparsas, Carnival groups and batucadas.
