Another international fugitive is arrested in the Canary Islands

A Norwegian fugitive wanted for numerous economic crimes, including fraud that affected over 175 victims between June 2023 and March 2024, was arrested by the Guardia Civil in Fuerteventura on July 9th. The 35-year-old had an active European Arrest Warrant issued against him by the judicial authorities in Norway.

Initial information from the Norwegian authorities indicated that the fugitive had traveled from Belgium to Fuert

The government is considering new measures to reduce accidents and deaths on Spain’s roads by lowering the legal blood alcohol limit for drivers. Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska announced plans to decrease the allowable blood alcohol concentration from 0.5 to 0.2 grams per litre.

Hello - please could I get some advice on how to get the correct paperwork for the Canary Islands resident discount? 

I have a certificado de inscription padronal from La Oliva and a (new) TIE card.

I'm not even sure if I'm eligible for the discount.

I've read of the internet that I need a Certificado de Viaje and also that the airlines also use an electronic system.  I'm trying to avoid extra bureacracy (wish me luck!).  Please let me know if this info is true and if so how do I get a pap
